Apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e9puisement du classicisme romain, qui \u00e0 la naissance de l\u2019art chr\u00e9tien pendant le III\u00e8me si\u00e8cle voyait une simple d\u00e9cadence de l\u2019art hell\u00e9nistique, nos recherches ont saisi parmi les motifs inspirateurs de cette naissance l\u2019accomplissement final de la spiritualisation de l\u2019art \u00e0 travers le myst\u00e8re originel et innovatrice de l\u2019Incarnation du Christ : une illumination des images et des canons esth\u00e9tiques avec les principes de la nouvelle foi en utilisant dans l\u2019art ce qui \u00e9tait bon et \u00e9cartant ce qui \u00e9tait mauvais. Dans cet essai donc, nous avons essay\u00e9 de mieux comprendre l\u2019origine et la v\u00e9ritable essence de l\u2019art pal\u00e9ochr\u00e9tien occidental et oriental, pour finir avec le cas de l\u2019Afrique du Nord, comme exemple de r\u00e9alisation profonde et d\u2019adaptation des canons artistiques chr\u00e9tiens \u00e0 la culture locale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
